I look forward to the new episodes that come out, however, why is it that some won’t play? i.e. 10/16/2021 Pakistani law that jails rape victims and 12/25/2021 Right to Drive in Saudi Arabia. As for a review, your program is wonderful, but I just would like an answer to my question.

I like the range of topics and people who are interviewed. Some of the interviewers talk like they’re auditioning for Blue Peter, which is weird - not sure why that’s become the house style recently! Worth dipping in and out of, and learning about historical events from around the world.

This podcast is advocacy, not history. Single perspectives are presented, with the presenters speaking in support. If the listener wants nothing more than a personal story, then this might be satisfying, but one will gain precious little examination of and appreciation of history here. Also,...Read full review »

Most of the people listen to podcasts at night or while they travel. Do you really have to play bombing sound repeatedly hundreds of time, everytime you mention bombing??? Its so stupid and annoying.

I enjoy the vast variety of topics brought up by this podcast but I also find myself fed up with the huge amount of episodes/sections in the episodes about LGBTQ stuff. There’s too much emphasis on the topic, considering the fact this is a history podcast, not a propaganda/brainwashing thing.

Completely biased opinion about the partition and the role England played in it. Englishmen at that time were not there to unite a divided India but do the opposite. They’ve been implicit in events such as the famine of Bengal and the partition too. To paint a picture of Britishers as the great...Read full review »

Wonderful podcast: I just listened to the technology history on my morning walk. It is absolutely fascinating and lively with interviews and of course the gorgeous British accent of the presenter. I am looking forward to many more.

What I appreciate most about this history podcast is the fact that you somehow find original sources who were actually there or family members who were directly impacted by the events covered. Thank you for the carefully researched presentations. I know it can feel like thankless work but it is...Read full review »

Ya we have heard more, poor me boohoo stories. Especially I’m so rich but a victim success story. Enough of the PC radical race theory. Everyone is so mean because I’m black as they laugh all the way to the bank.

Good informative podcast , the contributions are concise and easy to follow . The only quibble I have is that none of the episodes I’ve heard so far go any further back than recorded archives in the 20th century -which seems a little narrow for to fit the given title

A superb podcast that rediscovers so many events, like ships we had forgotten emerging from the fog of memory. The eye witness accounts make it compelling listening.

A really great way to learn about historical events in greater depth. I’ve lived in both the UK and US and have a surface knowledge of many of the topics, but this podcast always goes deeper and helps me understand what led up to the events. Keep up the good work!
