Great Podcast
“Hello everyone and welcome to the Byzantium podcast!” The words which I am waking up and fall a sleep for the past several months. A great podcast where Robin brings to the audience deeper knowledge and understanding of the Eastern Roman Empire. Thank you very much mr Pierson for your great podcast! Keep it on! Being Bulgarian I learned Byzantine history at school but only as far as it influences my country. Recently decided to check what the other nations know about us and this podcast helped me to understand the reasons behind rise and decline of the First Bulgarian empire. I am still on the episode 200 and can’t wait to see how Robin see the Second Bulgarian Empire but I am pretty sure it will be more than interesting! Thank you again and I hope will see Robin someday, probably on any of his tours in Constantinople or Tsarigrad as we Bulgarians name The City in the medieval world. And who knows Robin may decide to visit Odesos some day where I will be more than glad to welcome him!

More reviews of The History of Byzantium
Robin Pierson successfully retains the format of the History of Rome while presenting the material in his own style. Both the production and content are excellent. This is highly recommended for anyone wishing to continue the journey. Best of luck to you Robin and thank you!
