Genre defining
As anyone who’s listened to history podcasts for more than a few years knows well. The history of Rome is one of the critical genre defining podcasts. That so many history podcasters begin their journeys by emulating Mike Duncan’s style, before they find their own voice, is testament to the legacy this podcast will forever have on this medium.
