Jack is America’s David Crowther
If you haven’t heard the podcast “History of England” you are missing out on a real treat. Jack explained in his introduction to this series he’s using Mr. Crowther as a model and - boy - is he ever succeeding. I have never been interested in the pre-history of the Americas because it’s usually so full of sanctimony and moral preening. None of that here. Just the story. Just clean, solid analysis: Oh, and fun too. Did you know Chief Tuscaloosa yelled “Roll Tide” right before his battle with Hernado de Soto? 🤣 If kids got this - as opposed to the turgid nonsense they get in schools - we’d all be way better off.

How refreshing to hear a non-partisan take on anything these days, but especially American history. Each episode is engaging and informative. Jack makes history fun again!
