Overal good, bit too biased
It is an overall good podcast, however it places blame too little on the other European countries. Germany DID NOT start WW1, it did not fight it alone, and it did not even fight especially the hardest. However it was given the blame of it 100% and so forced into paying for ALL the rebuilding in all the allied nations. This threw it into huge economic despair, extreme devaluation of the German Mark (their currency at the time). At a time when a loaf of bread before WW1 (1914) cost around 0,13 mark, and in 1923 the same loaf cost 3 BILLION mark, it is much more logical for the people to believe in an extreme nationalist (this meant, if in 1914 you had one billion Mark you were extremely rich, 9 years later you would not be able to buy a loaf of bread with it: savings do not inflate, they become worth less). Of course this does not change anyrhing later than that, but your presentation in the first episode does make it seem like Germany was not even punished that hard and it was completely a petty move to start the Nazi party. Just a little side note for anyone who listens to the first episode to have a little bit more of a background. I am not from Germany, I am from Belgium, the first country attacked, this is not some fake biased history made by a former ally.
