I've finished binge listening to this and since Ariel left it's done downhill...quickly. You can tell that they don't have any topics left to talk about so have just resulted to regurgitated interviews. Loved the show before and it's unfortunate because there just isn't anything out there like this.

John Biggs is a hoot!

I used to love this podcast when John and Ariel actually did it. Sure there were some long spaces between episodes, and John was a neurotic jerk most of the time. But it was funny and informative and hioghly entertaining. The last episode (with some other guy) was basically like listening to...Read full review »

Enjoy Ariel's considerate and professional curation of the wrist watch industry, which is a funny contrast to John's frequent derailing and mocking all sorts of accents ranging from Chicago, New York, Swiss, French, Spain... check out their BullToro episode, what a riot 🤣

A funny and irreverant look at watches and the watch industry. John Biggs is the Han Solo of watch reviewers

Hi guys. Been a long time fan of the John & Arial duo. I'm okay with no Arial now, but.....this podcast is crap now. John, listen to your last episode and pay attention to your enthusiasm about any and all topics. There is none. I'm not excited or interested in hearing what you have to say now....Read full review »

Sorry, I used to be a fan, but now I don't even know what the podcast is supposed to be. Call me when Ariel is back and start talking watches again.

These two guys clearly have a passion for what they love. The podcast sounds a bit amateurish though, particularly when it comes to the sound quality and volume disparity between both microphones. They also seem to talk over each other a lot which can be frustrating as a listener. In a category...Read full review »

I only have a few podcasts that I follow, and Hourtime is one of them. The content of the show is always great, John and Ariel are the best, just great look at watches and the watch industry.

A watch podcast is hard to find. I’m thankful for this and the hosts do a great job.

Love this podcast! Very informative. I feel like the curtain has been pulled back on the watch industry and it has made me a more critical consumer. Wish the episodes would come out faster.

Love the show! Just enough humor and facts, keep it up guys.

I enjoy the information I get from The Hour Time about the horological world. I've learned about some pieces being released and new innovations. However the main host Ariel should really not be a radio/podcast personality. He is overly opinionated on the most minor details and extremely...Read full review »

An entertaining, insightful, educational, and often times funny podcast that just happens to be about watches. A great resource. Keep the episodes coming.

These are the guys behind the best watch blog out there, Ablogtowatch, so I was hoping for something really interesting. But, very sorry to say, this podcast is a mess. The two hosts try to be funny, but they're not. They try to be casual and cool but they come across as self-indulgent. At times...Read full review »

A disappointment. This could have been a really good podcast if it wasn't for the moumental banality of its hosts. There is no entertainment to be found here, only annoyance and a deep regret for having taken the time to listen to one of its meagre offerings. This is the 'Invicta' of horology...Read full review »

Great natural banter and interesting opinions. Refreshing to hear honest opinions versus marketing nonsense which surrounds most watches and watch magazines.

Great show guys! Very funny and relevant to this great hobby. You should do a show stating the watches you own and why you bought them. We only know that John has an Orange Monster (so do I) and a B&R and that Ariel has a Sinn that we doesn't wear anymore. I really want to know, after all the...Read full review »

These guys are the Ying and Yang of watch talk. I look forward to their banter regarding the high propensity of douchebaggery in the watch world. Mr Biggs is the voice of the common man, constantly looking for watches that offer value. Mr Adams is more a voice of the brands and offers a nice...Read full review »

This is, by far, the best podcast about watch topics that exists. I look forward to hearing this each week. The depth and breadth of horologic information discussed on the show is mind boggling. Also, I like the accents.

These guys are hilarious and have a great and informative take on modern watches. Best part is that they discuss the extremely conservative and passive aggressive world of expensive watches without being pretentious like everybody else. If a brand is mainstream and you like - chances are that...Read full review »

I love everything about this podcast. Its one of the few where I maintain as past episodes and really listen to them. Where else can you participate in watch talk, really bad celebrity impressions, AND get invited to GTG's (I have not yet attended one but will). Don't get me wrong - 20 years...Read full review »

Clearly the podcasts hosts know a great deal about watches, watchmaking and the industry as a whole but still manages to be entertaining as well as informative. Good balance of good humor and watch talk. This is definitely the show to listen to if you're a watch collector, entry level or pro. Most people that are into watches come across as snobs but these guys are pretty fair with all brands and definitely give their honest opinion and don't pander to...Read full review »

A hosting issue caused Ariel and John to be off air for over 2 weeks. This feed is their new (ongoing) feed. I look forward to them bringing us news and hearing their commentary, on all things relating to the world of watches. Great work guys. @louiscmiles

This is a great program which mixes humorous banter with useful watch talk from real guys. You are not going to get regurgitated press release babble here. OK, so you might think that a Podcast on Horology (watch stuff) might be dry and a good way to get some sleep- but you would be totally incorrect with that assumption when talking about this show. John Biggs definitely comes off as a jerk on the podcast...but I would not have it any other way because it just adds to the hillarity.
