With about 45 years of experience in Engineering Geology, Dr Yash Pal Sharda is alumnus of Delhi University (B. Sc. Hons., Geology and Ph. D). He has worked in Geological Survey of India in Government Sector, RITES in Public Sector and SNC Lavalin multinational in private sector. During his carrier spanning for 45 years, he has worked on numerous water resources and infrastructural projects in most of states of the country especially those located in northeastern region and in Himalayan terrain. He has worked on some projects in Africa, Nepal and Bhutan also. He has around forty research papers and more than hundred reports to his credit. He, at present is Freelance Consultant Engineering Geologist engaged with many companies and is also a member of Panel of Experts of NTPC.
