Eoin has helped me so much

I’ve had type one for about 10 years now. I’ve had a tough time with my original medical teams that helped me manager disease. I was wrongly diagnosed a type two early on and treatment was wrong. I stumbled upon the podcast in the last two years and it’s a game changer. Not just for all the physical tips for treating the disease but Eoin and his guests like Graham, that are honest that the disease is a daily work in proteas but that self care and self confidence are work. I’ve regained my confidence and my numbers have improved but my reaction to mistakes or highs or lows is not as drastic. It’s a great podcast for anyone with the disease or who have family members with it. Thank you Eoin & Co.

Old Dog, New Tricks

I’ve just stared listening to Eoin’s podcast a week ago. I’m up to #20. Along with a couple other youngsters 😃 on social media , I am picking up new tricks and learning new ways to deal with my diabetes. So, you can teach an old dog new tricks. I’m currently in range about 92% of the time and my last A1C was an all time best of 6.1. I’m now looking to get below 6.
I’m currently on Dexcom G6 and OmniPod 5. I started out in 1970 at age 15. Boiling my glass syringes and the needles. Peeing into a cup to test for sugar. After mixing the water and fizzy tablet, blue was good, orange was bad.
