Pulitzer? No, this is better than that.
This is a thoroughly-empathetic and freakishly-accurate reflection of the many struggles endured by addicts and those affected by them. It is at times hilarious, and at times heartbreaking, and all the while a brilliant expression of deep moral and ethical philosophy juxtaposed with the inability of an individual to live up to the conception of his own "ideal" self. The musical numbers interspersed are exquisitely appropriate in creating the mood that the topics require, and are a discovery in themselves. I listened to this on 1X. Twice. Steven Conrad, Thank You! This is genius. Kurtwood Smith is a national treasure... Go watch "Patriot", then treat yourself to this, but be prepared to have a mirror held up to your very soul.
