Not the usual rhino poaching narrative
Excellent podcast series that explores the complex issue of rhino poaching through the lens of conservationists, rangers, poachers (!), affected communities, social commentators and many others. Take home: Conservation and rhino protection are elite pipe-dreams unless local communities are actively and meaningfully involved in conservation and its benefit schemes.

I just wish there were more episodes. This podcast needs to be listened to, it needs to be talked about. Georgina Savage made a classic. Looking forward to seeing what she's going to come up with next.Read full review »

Loved. So much more than a rhino doco. Refreshing for a documentary to present multifaceted observations without strong bias. Although the subject matter is heavy at times the podcast itself is very easy to listen to and incredibly morish. Highly recommend.
