Bites the hand that feeds him
James knows what training works for him. But I feel he tries to act too authoritarian in his approach by spending much of his time dissing other exercise and training “influencers.” This, combined with his excessive use of swear words/insults aimed at certain groups of people or exercises…who are more often than not, trying to sell their own equivalent of his JSA. The passive aggressive way he communicates his knowledge comes across somewhat patronising. For example, in podcast #22 he was ‘calling out a mate’ for mixing a lunge and a bicep curl together for his social media page, James goes on a small rant about the aforementioned groups of people and social media, before casually dropping in the line: “I don’t see a better compound quad dominant exercise than a rear foot elevated split squat at home” I can see how he would appeal to the Millennial/Narcissistic generation, but not for me.
