Thankful for my Iowa BFF
When you have a 1.5 hour commute each day, and there’s only one person you like to listen to consistently, you feel like you get to know someone. Pair that with knowing Jennifer grew up a mere 40 miles from me in Iowa, It feels like Jen is my bestie from down the street. A bestie, because who else can encourage you more than a best friend? Who else can speak truth even when it’s hard to hear, your best friend can. Who knows the challenges you face being a mom, a business owner, a wife, mother and so on? Yep, still your best friend. Jennifer does the best job of offering all these things and more, and always, always, draws me closer to the Lord. I felt like I was talking to my best friend on the phone this morning while listening to Episode 256. I’m have a small business, The Painted Dandelion Co. and have been trying to decide when it will be the right time to leave my day job, but January has been brutally slow. Every (negative) thought that has been going though my mind from changing my prices, to I’m not good enough, to I’m destined to fail, juggling the two jobs, was all put to rest by Jennifer’s wisdom in this podcast. As always, encouragement with love, support, and a side of truth to give you the motivation to GET GOING!!!! I’m so thankful for you, best friend. ;-) Thanks for keeping company all those hours on the road. I’m confident that soon I’ll be listening to you from my studio, while I CREATE instead of commute!
