“My gratitude for, and opinion of, this show are without equal. I had a sustained period in my life when i lamented the loss of the impact, influence, and guidance of the thinking of George Carlin. Jimmy is that voice for me for now, one that helps me navigate the reality of our contemporary reality in a way that is unflinchingly honest, ethical, and informed, yet not without joyfulness. I don’t remember for how long this show has accompanied my walk through my life, but i believe it has been enough years to begin to be measured in decades; but for however long it has been it is alone in its influence on and benefit to me and my ability to understand American political and social reality, clearly. It has been a guiding gift in my growth and existence, and i don’t really have words enough to express what i consider its value to be:
