Prof. Eric Cytrynbaum is an associate professor of mathematics at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, and also works with the BC COVID-19 Modelling Group. The BC COVID-19 Modelling Group works on rapid response modelling of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a special focus on British Columbia and Canada. The interdisciplinary group, working independently from Government, includes experts in epidemiology, mathematics, and data analysis from UBC, SFU, UVic, and the private sector, with support from the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences. Multi-faceted, often wearing multiple hats at once, producer & artist Mat Trewhit continues to provide his unique blend of hard hitting production and potent, catchy lyricism. Born in the Okanagan Valley, Mat made his way to Vancouver after deciding to follow his passion of music. Having been a bedroom producer growing up as a teen, he saw the value in higher learning, and attended SAE in North Vancouver to earn his diploma in Audio Engineering & Music Production. Applying his newfound knowledge, he went on to collaborate and create with a plethora of Vancouver artists, performing shows across the province and down into Washington State, as well as releasing several albums, singles and EPs.
