“The Ken Harbaugh Show offers an honest, down to earth, analysis of current events from the perspective of a veteran. I am excited that his podcast will be daily. Ken explains things in an easy to understand manner and has guests who are knowledgeable in their subject area. As an adult, I can say I lived a very sheltered life. I grew up in a middle income family, living in a white suburb of Chicago. Both parents worked. Finances were tight, but were had everything we needed. My travel experiences consisted of a yearly vacation to visit grandparents in northern Wisconsin. In school we were taught both US and World History. However, because I had limited background in almost every area, combined with the “not so great” methods of instruction utilized by my teachers, I had nothing to “connect” historical events to—which sadly, made these facts seem somewhat unimportant to me. (We were briefly shown a country on a classroom map, memorized names & dates for test and then moved on to the next chapter). When the twin towers fell, I was the person (as were many, I’m certain) filled with shock at the realization that many people around the world detest the USA. Harbaugh’s show helps me to understand how things are connected as well as the pros, cons, and consequences of various actions.”
