Episode 5 - correction
The Golden State Killer was not caught through the efforts of police work. There is an HBO documentary that outlines the work done by Michelle McNamara and her obsessive hunt to find this killer. The work of private citizens, not necessarily the police, brought this killer to justice. That is why these podcasts are so important. Just noting this because it’s important to know that individuals, like ones on this show, are more competent than law enforcement for cold cases. Great reporting, I hope this bring the killer to justice for her family’s sake.
