Not often that I hear a podcast about Barre VT.
My cousin brought the podcast about the Broadwell murder to my attention. I knew a good deal about the subject already, as my mother, Patricia W. Belding, wrote what I believe to be the only book about the case, "One Less Woman: A Vermont Murder: 1919" back in 2006. Sadly, she is no longer with us, and so will never get to hear this podcast. At the time she was researching, the trial transcript was still missing, but I'm sure she would have loved to have been able to peruse it!Read full review »
