“I love hearing the fine details that are included in Bella and Pedro’s acting and they do an extraordinary job of presenting the personalities and relationship of Ellie and Joel.
I appreciate the subtle lines which link to the game or previous episodes. This creative scenario really brings the threat of not only infected but also survivors in the apocalypse.
The infected actors are realistically replicating the overthrow of a human mind by means of cordyceps and each scene with them is tense and astronomically well performed.
After the cold open with Ellie’s mother, I can see that the happenings of episode eight have taken an extreme toll on Ellie’s mind and she has an apparent emotional scar.
I am excitedly awaiting a season two and the introduction of Abby and the vendetta between the two girls. I am excited to see a further development of character and more screen time for more stages of the infection aka…. RAT KING.”
