Aamir’s  work is hugely inspired by Kashmiri-American poet Agha Shahid Ali & he is a multi award winning photographer who has been honoured with India’s Best Travel Photographer by Travel + Leisure (2017,) the mBillionth award by DEF & the UN World Awards for Heritage & Tourism (2018) alongside many MANY more accolades! After graduating from university in the UK, Aamir returned to Kashmir in 2014 & started his photography career soon after. He has dedicated his art to showcasing Kashmir as a story of hope, love, beauty & innocence. His stunning Instagram account “Kashmir through my lens'' undoubtedly earns him an easy ‘follow’ with over a 100k followers. Aamir’s work makes you fall in love with the history & culture of Kashmir.
