The release of my happy tears.
Yesterday I reached the pinnacle of my own definition of success - I was approached by an agency wanting to represent my work. But today I woke up a crumpled heap of panic, thinking a cruel joke must have been played on me... the imposter syndrome had hit me hard. My go to place when I feel this way is to listen to other artists that I know at some point have similar lived experiences, and for me that person is Lisa Congdon. This episode however, Lisa’s story, was one that hit very close to home for me, but Lisa’s words were exactly what I needed to hear to lift myself up and get on with living, and LOVING the journey I am on. Such powerful stuff, thank you Lisa for your story, and sharing your experiences, you are brave and terribly wonderful!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every podcast of Lisa’s so far and can’t wait to hear more - as a self-taught female illustrator, a lot of her words resonate with me, they have energised me and have fuelled my creativity every time. Thank you Lisa.

It’s obvious Lisa puts extraordinary effort in covering salient topics and finding guests that are authentic and truly care about being a positive force in this world - the insights they bring to bear are still mind-blowing every. single. time.
