TOUCH NOT THE LORD'S ANOINTED! All true believers are anointed, consecrated, and set aside for service to God not just a selected few like a lot of the false teachers and those preaching error would like for you to believe. In Ephesians 2:10, it tells us that "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." All of God's Saints are being utilized and chosen by Him for His use! God has anointed, sealed, and given the earnest of the Spirit in the hearts of those truly abiding in Him. John 15:4 (NASB) Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. 2 Cor 1:21-22 tells us that, "Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts." 1 John 2:20 also tells us, "But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things" In 1 Peter 2:9, he (Peter) makes it plain and clear that the true saints of God are called for God's Purpose and Will (not a Purpose Driven Life), "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the (praises of Him(God) who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;" Also read (1 Peter 2:5; Revelation 1:6, 5:10) In closing stop allowing these false teachers and those teaching doctrinal error lure you into believing that they are selectively unique from you. They want to make you think you must adhere to him or her as if they are in the place of God. We are all tools of Christ if we truly belong to Him. We are to respect those in leadership positions, but we can still test them in adherence to Scripture to make sure they are not teaching us doctrines of self, demons, unGodly traditions, and men.
