Bellisimo!

Even if I never heard of the songs Madeline is talking about, I’m still tuned in for her witty and insightful commentary. I’d also recommend paying for the bonus content on Substack cause who doesn’t want more lizard?????

Has potential, needs to smooth out a few spots

This show has potential, the host has amazing insight and great recommendations. She holds her own with just the mic and content very well. The issues I have have are fixable, 1. I feel like the host speeds through her thoughts as if they have sign posts to hit and they have to get it out as quickly as possible so not to lose it. I imagine this comes from being a cohost for the length of time they have. This is just them, so I would encourage them to slow down and take more time with their thoughts and let us think about their insights along with them. To this end there are so too many phrases that are call backs to their other show “well, yes.” Etc. this is a bit off putting as it doesn’t allow them to be branded as their own thing, and it’s played as funny but would not ring so if the listener does not have context. 2. The biggest one! Mouth sounds!!!! The hosts drinks on mic, coughs, and makes mouth noises. This triggers my personal misophonia something awful. I want this show to do well I have found two new amazing artists from this show and love the content. I leave this review not to tear down but to say it’s got some room to grow but has massive potential. 🫶🏼
