This is a well-produced, and frank podcast. The host knows how to interview and pace her show, and her guests are knowledgeble, perceptive, and compelling. Highly recommended, if you experience lonliness or are interested in it as a more abstract issue.

I very much enjoy listening to each guest share what forms of loneliness they experience. For some it may be due to mental health and others living a life so unique from their peers. I can identify with something from each guest. More often than not I actually feel more uplifted after listening...Read full review »

I love the exploration of this topic - loneliness. And I especially appreciate the episode The Representative. The subject is ABsolutely correct - as a Black American I AM indeed re-thinking my value and worth in this country. His comments are valid and so appreciated, on point and fact based.

Julia Bainbridge hosts an outstanding show about a universal topic. We can all relate to isolation and solitude. This show gets into the very heart of the matter, and the byproduct, coincidentally, is something that brings us together.

How wonderful to hear a writer I admire, like Will Chancellor, discuss the elemental solitude of producing a novel. Not all of loneliness is sorrow. I appreciate the personal contributions to this oft-considered dilemma. I'll be tuning in for more!
