History Without Compromise
Kudos to Darryl Cooper for being courageous enough to examine historical subjects with an uncompromisingly honest eye, with no regard for the fashionable revisionism that seems to plague his more “learned” colleagues in Western educational institutions and media outlets. An example of this is his unflinching look at the horrific genocidal ‘Utopian’ machine that was the Soviet Union in its infancy and beyond (Episode 19 - ‘The Anti-Humans’). Every kid in a Western university would do well to give this a listen…. Another example of brave, balanced historical accounting is Cooper’s multi-episodic ‘Fear and Loathing in the New Jerusalem’. Maybe he could streamline things a bit, but I appreciate his struggling with the subject matter. This stuff isn’t easy to reduce to bite-sized snacks for the attention-deprived and Cooper has no interest in doing so, to his credit. Glad you’re starting to be rewarded for your blood, sweat, and tears, Darryl. It is well-earned and deserved.
