Helpful, but could be improved
Pros: the guests on the show are great. I have learned a ton from them, and appreciate the episodes where they teach concepts, such as the psych soc outline. I will keep listening for them. Cons: Dr. Grey, while very knowledgeable about the premed process and med school admissions, does not remember any basic science. It’s concerning that a doctor would not know basic concepts such as how insulin works and what hormones could cause glucose levels to rise. I completely understand not remembering the amino acids and the like, but man, his reasoning skills are often lacking. My suggestion would be to have the next step folks talk with a half-prepared premed student. They would be non-intimidating person to learn from, and would waste less of listeners’ time. I am bored of hearing “I don’t know where to start” after each question.

Love listening when I’m in the car. Dr. Gray does an excellent job at breaking down information and making it stick!!

Bryan makes and carries this podcast (he really should just do it on his own). It's not that Ryan doesn't know MCAT content, which is fine, but it's that his conversation skills are lacking. Specifically when he replies to Bryan's thorough explanations with just an "..OK"...Read full review »

He does not know the answer to a single difficult question and offers absolutely zero insight beyond his educated guess and social...Read full review »
