“A year ago I said this: ‘A really fascinating glimpse into the media world. I am extremely impressed with Amol as a presenter: brisk, amusing, modest and witty, but with sharp questions and keen insight. I never thought Steve Hewlett could have been replaced, but Amol is shaping up to take his place extremely well. Can’t recommend more highly. Thank you.’
However, now (Jan 2019) Amos has changed from being a serious interviewer into a silly ‘entertainer’ or ‘guest-show host’. All the interesting things that were aired on the show are now smothered in froth, with the serious, considered responses of interviewees being overwhelmed by silly jokes and grisly BBC political correctness. No longer listening. What a pity.”
