“I am a 1LT who was thrust into a leadership position instantly upon return from A school. As a member with 13 years prior enlisted the expectation level was beyond other LTs, which is understandable. I felt like the mentorship I’ve been looking for was lacking. The leadership difference between officer and enlisted is different. Basic qualities are similar but there are some completely different qualities that become paramount. I find your podcast outstanding. I throw on my head set and go to the gym during he duty day and am constantly learning to become a better officer and better leader that my unit deserves. I can’t say thank you enough.”
