So good to have you back!
As I sat holding my baby girl who at the time was barely a month old, I thought about how I was brought up, I didn’t want to go in the same direction. I had no idea how to teach a child about the world, how to ‘discipline’ without shame or smacking, how to just be with a baby. I was in childcare for 15 years and thought about my traditional schooling and how I wanted none of it. I searched, read and googled. I was drawn to Rogio as a child care worker and had only touched on Montessori. The more I read about Montessori the more I was captivated by it. I decided there and then that was the way I wanted to go but how? I had no idea. I stumbled through until Claire was around 18months then I found you and thank goodness! I read your book and our home started to evolve, Claire thrives on it all! I started to listen to your podcast and how soothing it was to feel that I was not alone in my struggles, struggles that you had answers for! I’m in Australia (Maitland, NSW) Claire goes to a Montessori day care, it’s not 100% Montessori but it’s the closest I’m going to get. My main concern now is that there are no Montessori schools in our area to follow up after she completes her daycare journey. I’m at a loss. There are not a lot of people I can talk to about our daily Montessori life or to bounce ideas with etc. Hearing your voice returning to my weekly podcast was so reassuring. I want to learn more and do more I feel that the years are moving too fast and I’m running out of time for Claire to soak it all up in her early years. Your resources are amazing! Thank you for putting so much out there for us to learn about this wonderful Montessori journey. Thank you also for the interviews with other Montessori families, educators , Cara and Mars who have also inspired me to do better! Much love and gratitude xx Marie

I’m interested in Montessori for my kiddo and have dabbled in listening to a few, but THIS one is it! Lovely mix of expertise, tailoring content for your situation (ie working parent), and non judgmental tone.
