“I used to find this podcast useful and relatable. Unfortunately as is so common in our world today, the podcast content has skewed toward tackling political issues which leave many mothers like myself feeling alienated. I find this particularly disheartening as listening to podcasts is something I like to do in order to find a place outside all the other dissonance of the world we are living in right now. Some of the recent episodes have been partisan and have fanned the flames of social division, as well as being one sided and over-simplified. I actually have felt embarrassed that I’ve recommended this podcast in the past to other moms. I have stuck it out episode after episode hoping for some more balanced and relevant content on actual mothering but finally gave up and unsubscribed. If you aren’t part of the liberal elite this isn’t your podcast. There are other podcasts out there who don’t feel the need to mix politics and parenting and who are far more in touch with reality.”
