“Long time listener, but show’s really stepped-up it’s energy with the addition of co-host Andy Levy! Molly & Andy have great chemistry, balance each other out, and it truly warms my heart when he steps in to dig her out of an on-coming cynical spiral; like every good friend should during these incredibly turbulent and truly scary times. An excellent podcast made better with the addition of discussion between co-hosts with differing viewpoints; reflecting and representing more of the diverse listenership. Molly has wonderful energy, great sense of humor—and Andy’s the perfect balance — especially when things get into time-to-fact-check territory (critical in the disinfo age), when a more progressive/leftist take’s really needed. Every political/news podcast should have at least 2 hosts with differing perspectives to bring back the norms we miss; like civil discourse, respectful disagreements, getting the space to talk thru the logic behind expressed opinions & viewpoints (getting away from the “all knowing” media rhetoric from our radically shifted Overton window), etc. THIS is how you begin to break the media echo chambers!! Props to you guys for pivoting to such a fresh, fun place to hear truly unique discussion & rare interviews on the good, the bad, and the reality. And Molly deserves more love! It’s easy to get into a somewhat nihilistic headspace when burned out and doing political reporting since the dawn of Trumpism. Glad Andy’s helping balance the workload, boosting morale, and occasionally spilling some tea on his alma matter when he somehow worked for the crazies in Fox News world. Endlessly fascinated by how many actual liberals somehow get stuck “paying their dues” working at the Murdoch’s chief American populist propaganda project, before breaking free. Good on ya for not jumping to another reactive network, as so many former Fox people do. Instead, Andy’s working with Molly on this pod, where both inject positivity & laughter into a media landscape that’s otherwise become a graveyard for hope in humanity. Keep it up you guys!!”
