Description
Today’s episode of The New IT Podcast looks at Sponsr and how they are using tech in an innovative way to disrupt the industry. Sponsr is an organization that helps kids rally supporters, who in turn raise money to help support sports teams, high school clubs, and much more. Sponsr serves as the campaign manager as kids are empowered to raise support and launch ideas.
“Sponsr, at the core, works when we get sales for businesses in a really disruptive, innovative way by giving back to kids and youth groups. We fund high school sports teams clubs. Everything like that…kids everywhere take their referrals and bring them to all these local businesses. And now, the businesses don't have to knock on doors or use billboards or Facebook ads. Instead. They give hundreds of thousands of dollars a month, back to schools and kids, and they get sales meetings.”
Brad Anderson, CEO of TechBridge, a Salt Lake City IT staffing company, and Bobby Glen James, Author, Speaker, and founder of BoTecha IT Support, along with guest speakers Matt and Clinton from Sponsr, discuss how they are using technology to manage campaigns that allow kids and teenagers to raise support so they can launch impactful ideas. Hear what these tech experts have to say on the subject in this week’s episode of the New IT podcast, “Sponsr: F is for Fundraising.”
