“Look dude, I understand you’re done with Harry Potter, and you don’t like JK Rowling. Completely fair.
But the first ep felt really bogged down with the constant reference and comparison to why the book was better than Harry Potter so far. To the point where it felt like you were going out of your way to dump on Rowling based on a very small sampling of Riordan’s work so far
Comparison will happen, that’s natural. But PLEASE tone it done going forward or dedicate specific episodes to why Percy Jackson is less problematic than Harry Potter. Let these books stand on their own (excellent) merits”
