“This used to be great. And sometimes still is. Sadly, I have begun to increasingly feel the gulf between being an interviewer (as they all used to be at the Beeb) and a presenter/ commentator. I am no longer sure they can pull it off for much longer without new blood joining the team. Especially John Sopel who has kinda slipped into creepy uncle mode - endless naff comments and slightly creepy around Emily M. I'll carry on for now but defo looking to switch out. Kinda like the weird chumminess of Spectator Coffee House thing which is now a load of journos having more fun with each other that the listeners ever get. Shame. And please stop using the word "re-litigate" once every 15 mins. Totally naff.”Read full review »
