My new go to

What a great podcast. Having studied evolutionary biology as an undergrad and being a fairly avid hiker who is visually fascinated by geological phenomena I come across, this podcast is right up my alley. The host is easy to listen to, and sometimes unintentionally (I think) hilarious. Currently 10 episodes in and each one gets better. Thank you to the host for providing the general public with this super interesting and easy to absorb information. It’s really an awesome thing to do for society.

I love science and scientific thinking

Thanks Nick! I love all of your content. These podcast episodes are great additions to your various video series. I really appreciate your willingness to admit what you don’t know, and to then “think out loud” about the accumulating evidence and where it may lead. This is what good scientists do, and I think you are demonstrating how scientific knowledge grows by gradual “accretion” of new data onto older knowledge. New theories always have to explain the old data as well as the new data.

Thank you so much

Great supplement to the YouTube videos.

I especially enjoyed the episodes replicating your lab presentations. Hope you’ll do more. Anyone interested in geology would greatly benefit from listening.
