Haven dramatically reveals how Ruth Gruber bravely helped save more than 1000 Jews from Holocaust Germany in 1944. It also includes scenes of the first US Internment Camp in Oswego, New York, USA, where these Jews were forced to live as guests of Rosevelt but without any rights or state status. They were to be sent back to Germany before Truman granted US citizenship status. The film stars Natasha Richardson as Ruth, Hal Holbrook, and Anne Bancroft among a stellar cast. I know you will enjoy it. A word of caution. The subject matter in this film is for mature audiences. The photos, video, recordings, music, pictures, and content of this film may be disturbing to some who suffer, like I do, from Intergenerational Survivor Trauma or PTSD disorders.
