For those who are still watching the season of Watchmen, I’d recommend listening to the podcast before completing the season since it brings up good theories and critical thinking questions that we ask ourselves while watching the series.

I also just watched all nine episodes, post-George Floyd America (thanks HBO for making it available for free this weekend). So glad I did! The show was thrilling in its own right, but is lifted by the wave of voices around the world, demanding equality and justice. And now I get to enjoy the...Read full review »

Great for anyone who’s seen the series. Oh! Haven’t seen it? Do that, then do this!

Finally watched the series and was completely blown away. A masterpiece. I immediately began listening to this podcast. What I find especially interesting is that the interview took place shortly after the series ended and well before the murder of George Floyd and, of course, before the massive...Read full review »

What a series, and what superb Analysis & conversations in this podcast. The last one explaining the dialogue “wounds need air”; should be compulsory reading/listening by any student of film and film analysis...Loved the TV series, but loved the podcast even more!!!

Great breakdown of the powerful and mind bending show.

Hearing Lindelof himself go in-depth into what went through his mind (and his writing staffs' minds) while creating this masterpiece is just absolutely satisfying.Read full review »

Thoroughly enjoyable listening to two masters of their craft deep dive into conversation of one of the most important pieces of television in the past decade. As a massive fan of the novel and desperately wishing there was such a podcast to talk about it at the time, this was very rewarding!...Read full review »

Loved the podcast, loved the show, and loved the ending!! This was a great show that doesn’t need a season 2 (though it does deserve one!) bravo to the creator for wanting to keep the story in one season! Don’t change the story unless the STORY asks for it!

No Black people involved in the interview. Two white men having a conversation who don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. Typical white male behavior.

Giving 5 stars, because there should be more podcasts like this. My only qualm is that this series received 1 podcast for every 3 episodes. The depth of this show on a cultural, fan fiction, and historical level extended so far that each episode could have been discussed for 45 minutes each....Read full review »

I love the passion that informs every episode of this podcast, both of the viewer and the creator. It was a daunting task to tackle this material and Damon achieved everything he sought to do. The odd comments about reparations speak more to the commenters than the show. And the person who...Read full review »

No one alive has ever been a slave, nor slave owner. Reperations is just another redistribution scheme by Leftists for someone else’s income. Resentment and Ignorance truely remain as the Twin Pillars of Progressives.

After 3 podcasts, why didn’t either of these MEN discuss and acknowledge the actual people in the writers room? He says how much “the writers room” kept him on track and helped navigate the arc of this series... so why didn’t he talk about WHO those people actually are? More importantly... he...Read full review »

Congratulations to the writers, directors, actors and Mr. Lindelof on putting together such a well crafted and engaging show. The pod is of high quality in every way, and really works as like an annotated companion to the show. Personally, I’m appreciative that this comes straight from David, such a unique opportunity to how the show is built.

I like listening to the podcast. I have never read the Watchmen and have never seen the movie. So it helps to hear this commentary. I just focus on Angela as well. The history that the podcast speaks of is confusing.

Craig is a remarkable host. He’s insightful and asks the right questions that spur a meaningful dialogue on the show. Helps contextualize what we are watching and inspires us to dig deeper into other movies, shows, and reading that inspired the tv show.

The tv series is so great and dense and afterward watching, you just want to dive in to all the details with people that know more than you. So very satisfying to listen to this podcast. Wish the host would do a little less talking though.

As usual Damon Lindelof gives us mesmerizing content and exposition of the meaning of Watchmen. As a huge fan of the comic and movie I’m so in for this.
