Barney Desmazery on urban foraging
Do you know your three-cornered leek from your hairy bittercress? Have you joined the wild garlic gang? This week our skills and shows editor and super-keen forager Barney Desmazery @barneydesmazery joins host Janine @missj9 to share some edible plant treasures which often grow wild in the churchyards, parks and towpaths that wind through our cities. He explains what foraging can bring to a cooks table and gives plenty of advice on how to forage responsibly.

Look forward to every episode
This podcast is so interesting and informative down to earth and easy to listen to I no longer live in the UK but this keeps me up to date on what’s going on in the food and restaurant world and gives me a lot of inspiration recipe and idea wise.
very bad audio
audio is very bad guest is so far and interviewer keeps laughing extremely annoying when guests explaining something
Olive podcasts need some refining
Because I love Olive Magazine, I wanted to like these podcasts, I really did, but... Laura needs to refine her interview technique and keep guests (and herself) on point. Too chatty, too meandering, not enough context, not enough shape and structure to the conversations. It feels like no one has done their homework. Also: sound quality seems amateurish. Please consider spending more time and money on recording technology, the mix, music bridges, editing. In the meantime, I’ll stick with my hard copy Olive issues.
