Stuck around for too long now.

Excellent, and I never thought I’d listen to a cycling podcast. I came to this via Revolting, via allhailtheblackmarket. These guys make an interesting show, I like the way they think. I have started going back and listening to old episodes. This podcast is so good, it makes up for the terribly...Read full review »

This used to be my favorite cycling podcast, but now there is so little cycling actually discussed. I think both Patrick and John are very knowledgeable about all things cycling, but they just need to have more organization and coordination about what cycling topics to discuss and less random...Read full review »

Yikes. I kept thinking anytime now the song is gonna stop…nope. That is one long intro. I think you should go back to the shorter intro song.

Love the chat about all things related to cycling, at a personal and informal level, as well as the technical evolution of the cycling industry.

Recently discovered this gem and am working through the back catalogue. An insightful, thoughtful, and humorous look into why I (we?) love riding.

For what content there is, that part is great. The hosts are knowledgeable but the last couple of episodes I’ve listened to are horrendous. Just mindless rambling and they cannot help but say the word “yeah” about 400 times an episode. It is really bad. I truly hope they see this review and...Read full review »

Sorry mate, but you’ve lost your way. John is possibly worse than patria. Unrelatable. And Patric without proper guardrails is likely to veer into a paychobable ditch. You had a good tun with selene. Maybe it’s just time to pull the plug. Honestly, a 30 minute podcast with Patric alone would...Read full review »

Less BSing and m more cycling maybe. This podcast has become a waste of time. It’s just gone downhill. Especially with the latest guest cohost. It’s like dumb and dumber chatter cast.

I couldn’t get into the show before Selene joined and sadly couldn’t after. Patrick is great but the duo of them both is what flies me to this podcast. Gravel, Road, and Mountain Biking are all discussed and it really is a cyclists podcast. From Selene’s tandem episode #5 and the 100 episode...Read full review »

Since Selene left, it feels like we are just reading from a script and checking off topics we decided to cover. I now feel like I’m being schooled instead of being taken on a journey. I give this podcast a shot each week, but the robotic narration and almost “know it all” demeanor turns me off...Read full review »

Sorry, but since Selene left, I am bored to tears. Patria seems to read from a script and I think even Patrick is too bored to even say much anymore. I used to eagerly await this podcast and now I can barely get through each episode. Have to move on sadly.

The two hosts lack chemistry. This podcast has lost its personality. I’m going to take a break and hope they find it along the way. There’s still good info to glean, but the banter has proven cumbersome.

The hosts have spent a lifetime riding bikes and share so many little insights about how to create a great experience for yourself on bike year round in all climates. Great stuff!!

I am not much of a podcast guy but these have changed my mind. Excellent subjects with very well thought out content. I listen to these while traveling and time flies by.

What used to be a fun, light-hearted, chatty and enjoyable podcast dealing with cycling and focusing on gravel riding, has now turned into a podcast where we must hear about politics and mental health issues. Maybe it’s due to the lockdown, but the podcast has become negative and political… two...Read full review »

I have been a regular listener for about a year. Of all the cycling podcasts this is my favorite. It’s very welcoming of all levels of riders as well as whichever side of cycling floats your boat. It doesn’t matter if you’re a roadie, fixie, gravel grinder,cx, or MTB all things bikes goes. The...Read full review »

Really like the dialogue between these two...in particular the emotional responses to their mental health during this pandemic. Making something out of strange times for cycling.

Absolutely one of the best podcast. They do a wonderful job describing conditions, anxieties, racing, gear. Incredibly knowledgeable!

Patrick and Selene have a lot to offer for all kinds of riders, Road, mountain, gravel, competition, you name it they’ve done it. They are a good podcast team, the conversation flows smoothly. They keep it real! And Selene has a wonderful laugh. Very entertaining and informative. Ride on!

Great down to earth show, discussing biking and gear like real people. Really enjoy the fact that we hear about the triumphs and the struggles.

I’m really enjoying the regular joe banter and ride reports. I recently found the podcast looking for heart rate information and found so much more. Thanks for doing a great job with it.

Wow, I heard this podcast referenced on the gravel ride, and my first episode out of the gate was a very grown-up conversation about depression, body image and periodontal issues. These folks are gonna get me through!!

Love the content and how it is presented. I save these episodes up for my “pulls” to events that are hours away from home. I have had more than one good belly laugh with Selena’s descriptive narratives of her own adventures.

I’m new to Pace Line and have really enjoyed! Love the content. I’m local to Central PA, so I like the chat on local events. Question...where do I find the links to the picks that are discussed during the podcast?

Is there something you can do to adjust the volume of the podcast so that it sounds good without having to constantly adjust the volume?

Thank you both for the great content!

I really enjoy these two writers. They are both elite athletes and responsible journalists who know their sport; they don’t favor any company or sponsor. They know what’s good. And they have a wealth of knowledge to help racers and cyclists. Only quibble is sometimes the beginning of each...Read full review »

I think you guys should seriously think about taking the time to write down what you guys will talk about in moving along so that we are not left with Selene’s bland responses to a bland reaction from Patrick. He gets really awkward and it just feels like we’re listening to a woman talking to a...Read full review »

I check in every couple hours on Thursday waiting for the new show to drop. I feel like we are sitting together in a coffee shop enjoying a cup and BS-ing bikes.

I don’t miss an episode! Selene is a terrific addition and the repartee that bounces back and forth between these two great writers is a breath of fresh air. Both Patrick and Selene have deep, deep wells of knowledge to share (as also evidenced by their written work) as well as enough humility...Read full review »

Look forward to listening each week. Occasionally a bonus episode. Informative on many levels. Selene & Patrick are knowledgeable on many topics. After a few episodes you feel like they’re your friends. Well worth listening to.

Just getting into cycling and Patrick and Selene are phenomenal guides into this new world—-btw if anyone wants to here a gem find the Interview with Sarah Lee (I think that’s her name) a vet who cycled across the country.

Love the interaction between Patrick and Selene, varied topics, always something interesting to hear whether it’s about people, rides, components or clothing.
