“Not bad as a podcast, and dives into important topics. 3-stars for the passive interviewing style.
I served in the military where I became familiar with foreign policy. The interview with Tim Busch, a lawyer/wealth manager & hotelier, was a wash. Let's ask a rich guy if there should be rich people? Economic and business 'freedom' are essential, yet we can leave it to Busch to omit any understanding that our national sense of economic 'freedom' is parasitic. It can't exist as it does without mass suffering and environmental degradation elsewhere.
As for his understanding of Latin American 'Bolivarian' countries and their failings, he is seemingly unaware of active and past US campaigns of political and economic destabilization throughout the region, including the most current collapse in Venezuela.
Our collective national and spiritual well-being are in the mixer due partly to our blind adherence to predatory sacred cows, including our economic and political systems. As long as we refuse to look the harm we are all collectively causing in the face, any aspirations of spiritual or societal health will elude us.
Get critical. Have tact but don't let such elementary ballyhoo go unchallenged.”Read full review »
