Very interesting data, makes you think about the relative value of the money and how you can create or depreciate a market with or without a small economic stimulus. Also it shows the fragility that people are exposed to in life when somebody reaches poverty. A billionaire every 26 hours during...Read full review »

$300k given as repetitions per individual is not a solve. Counterproposal, socially hold yourself accountable, believe you can achieve. In addition the community and neighbors can provide accountability. I’m not going to push education, so communal pressure to express disappointment in a lack of...Read full review »

This show and the producers clearly have an agenda. The information in every episode is very misleading. It’s funny how the team uses common sense arguments that blanket a broad range of people and will then suggest that its only happening to a certain group of individuals or community. There’s a...Read full review »

This is an excellent podcast that doesn’t shy away from exposing the dark truths of wealth and/income disparities.

It’s sad to see the real evil and greed running through the foundation of this country by banks and people in power within government that feel like this country is for them and the rest of us can just go away for fear of threat or reprisal.

Ugh, whoever put this podcast together did not think about the audience and their wants. The ads are not only irrelevant, they are jarring and way louder than the content. So annoying, detracts from an otherwise smart and interesting podcast.

My first-ever foray into podcasts was through this production. Your team does an amazing job about making a complicated topic very accessible and inspiring to listen to. As a young woman without children yet, I have a lot to think about, and I hope you continue this podcast.

This is an original show with strong ideas and great reporting!

The evidence presented only very weakly supports their conclusion. Debate about whether one controversial entertainer being paid less than another entertainer not only fails to make the case for the wage gap, it is a waste of time and appears to be manipulative.

What a great disappointment this podcast was. The show’s host just contradicts herself by saying that the pay gap amounts to 20% on what a man earns. When it’s not! She herself explains in the podcast that when different factors are considered, the real wage gap is 5.5%. It seems she prefers to...Read full review »

I found the pay check interesting- but I worry it is preaching to the choir. In the most recent episode, the executive talks about how doing hair and makeup 15 minutes a day equals 60 hours of additional labor a year and she called that one full work week. This is clearly an insight issuing from...Read full review »

I really enjoy this podcast, because I’m about to enter the “real adult” work force and I’m glad I’m more educated about these type of things. I also feel more prepared for what’s to come. No one has the one answer to solving the pay gap, but not talking about it is not going to get us anywhere.
Bailey Y via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/20/18
Great podcast, with more than just opinions. The well researched facts and documented history of women being undervalued in the workplace better prepared me for the next conversation that I am in when someone attempts to deny the pay gap. Great listen!

This show doesn’t take into account how pay is actually determined. The only reason I heard is “companies won’t tell us how they determine pay” and “companies massage their numbers when a gender analysis is done”. I didn’t hear any attempt to learn about market demand for a position. I also...Read full review »

I have listened to all the podcasts so far. In some areas there does seem to be a demonstrable paygap between the genders. When individuals start asking for equality it often times feels like oppression to the majority, in this case men. Hence, the comments by Britt Hume. What if women made more? What if men made one percent less than women? Given that, people would be up in arms. Inequality for one means inequality...Read full review »
