I purchased the Graedon's first book back in the 70's to help my husband's grandmother who we discovered, with the help of this book's information, was overmedicated due to a lack of communication/caring among her several doctors. Ever since that time I have found their radio show, podcasts, books, and publications to be honest, sincere efforts to vet the rapidly changing business of US healthcare and pharmaceuticals. In summary, the best advice derived from all of this over these many years: eat real food, exercise daily, be your own best advocate.
