Always ahead of the curve
I find that the "revised advice"I hear about in the paper or via major news outlets is always a few years behind The People's Pharmacy. I love hearing about the latest studies as they are published, hearing from medical experts who really *are* experts on the topic at hand, and all the home remedies which are generally innocuous if they don't happen to work for you. Contrary to what the doctor's review says, Joe and Terry do point out when a caller's suggestion is potentially dangerous. Many of the remedies have been reported to work by hundreds of listeners and are good first aid knowledge to have when the 'proper' items are not available.Read full review »

Espcially if you like alternative options. They interview actual mainstream doctors talking about alternative remedies hat actually work (as well as discuss the ones that have no proof that they work).
