Rediculous Long Intros and Outros
Generally well (overly) structured presentation, but if this were a transcript you would find an extensive overuse of parentheses, commas, and run-on sentences. Most of the info is good, but the CYA polish put on EVERYTHING is a bit much. The knowledge presented in many cases is sound, but there are times when the “flat earth” mentality starts to poke through. Of course, I don’t literally mean he is espousing flat earth theory. What I mean by that is that he has his known concepts, but when he comes across ideas that conflict with, or correct his “settled science” view of the universe, odd persnickety pettiness ensues. His mentality doesn’t pivot to ponder the implications of the new idea. He is like the dinosaurs of the Pritikin weight loss era, where weight loss is a flat formula of height, weight, calorie in, calorie out, done...and any questioning of that model are dismissed as uninformed. Perhaps this is the typical scientist’s arch, whereby they fill their mind with so many ideas and get the notions stacked into neat little rows and columns of rectangular ideas, and along comes a round idea. CHAOS!!! Utter Chaos! This can’t be right!?! (To picture this correctly, you have to imagine Doc Brown’s exclamation, “1.21 Gigawatts!!??!!”) Add to that, the lengthy intro setup, and CYA fine print outro, and well you get a nibble of info and then spend the rest of the time being directed to the paywall...classy Doc, real classy.

Peter, Rhonda Patrick, Dom D’Agostino, Tim Ferriss, and Tony Robbins keep me going for miles and miles. The science and life-changing focus are impeccable. I am learning so much but...Read full review »
