National Security Threat
I listened to Mr. Schiff’s podcast for the first time today. Being a relative expert in economics and finance, I found his perspectives on inflation, trade, and politics to be fascinating and worthy of debate. Though I disagreed with key arguments, I did not reject them and did not feel bothered by my disagreements. At the end of the episode, however, he presents an advertisement pitch that is barely distinguishable from the rest of his episode. He advertised the “Chinese digital yuan” as a premier investment opportunity over cryptocurrency and the US dollar. While he made subtle counter arguments to his own thesis, it is unbelievably clear that Mr. Schiff is willfully, but cautiously operating on behalf of a foreign power aimed at ending the USDs role as the world’s reserve currency. I am disgusted. Sadly, Mr. Schiff demonstrated too much knowledge of economics during his podcast to be naive to what he is doing. 30 it’sbecome clear he knows what he is doing and just doesn’t care how he betrays his country as long as he gets paid.
