“I have been listening to Galloway for about 3-4 years. He has a great voice, great voice, for a podcaster I’ll give him that. But his verbal tics (like repeating certain things twice for effect) and now cloying humble brags (yes, that’s right! Cloying humble brags!) have started to grate on me. How many times must I listen to his now stale anecdotes about his businesses that he started and sold (How many times!?) I respect the successes he has behind him but they now have the stench of my retired grandfather who tells stories from decades ago which I’ve only heard 20x before. The interviews are uneven in quality. His attacks on certain public figures (you know who they are) come off as phoney. The whole stchick of “I’m really a shy guy and looking for affirmation from others” is boring. We have passed Peak Galloway. Please come up with some new material or (more likely) fade away as the pandemic-era celeb that you are. Oh, last dig: Whenever he delves into national politics he comes off as a classic wealthy schmuck who wants to tout his progressivism a little too loudly in order to be accepted by the cosmopolitan lib crowd he hanged out with.”
