Interviewing journos is not journalism
The glowing ‘deep dive’ on Jacinda Arden today again showed that The Quicky needs better resourcing for its news team. Interviewing another journalist is not proper journalism. They are a secondary source. Journalists should ask questions of experts, or primary sources. And they should aim for a balance of views, not just interview one person (who reflects their own views). In times of crisis, the disparity between trusted sources like the ABC and outlets such as Mamamia couldn’t be more obvious.

The greatest way to hear local and international news delivered fast and refreshingly unbiased. The deep dives are well thought out, researched and the guests rarely disappoint. Well done team! I love your work and will always tune in everyday. Two enormous thumbs up. Tamara x

This podcast is a big disappointment for me. The deep dives have nothing to do with what’s happening now in the news. How dose a lost princess have to do with what’s happening here??? Such a disappointment Mamamia. 1 out of 5 for me.
