This podcast is such a joy to listen to. Interesting topics and two presenters who have wonderful narrative styles. I say two because my one complaint about the show is Richard Coles. What a crashing bore he is. Constantly interrupting topics presented by CJ or CS, with something that always...Read full review »

As a proud Canadian, I was thrilled to hear SOMEONE sees there are many differences between us and our southern neighbours!

I love the chemistry and entertainment value. However, the 1950’s attitudes are disappointing. I expected more leadership from all three to be open minded and objective, especially around assumptions about North American culture and values.

Dr Jarman mentions The Green Man when talking about the hawthorn tree. Would you elaborate on the Green Man? As an anglophile Canadian, I’m intrigued.
