This podcast is doing LFC fans a disservice. It’s poorly researched and offers zero insight whatsoever. The host is acting like he is talking about football from the 1970’s. The game has evolved but the dinosaur host has not. Simon Hughes seems to have a bee in his bonet about all things Klopp...Read full review »

It’s a shame a good podcast is ruined by such an awful host

Led by LFC reporter-James Pierce-Walk On is by far the best coverage of Liverpool. And from across the big Atlantic the most understood 😊YNWA

Great podcast for all Liverpool supporters. Enjoying the new format both after the game and in depth episodes.

Love this podcast, Caimohe, Simon, James etc are brilliant and insightful but really need new host. Tony is a great pundit but not a great host.
Siminister80 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 10/02/23
Tony sounds like you walked into a random pub and stuck a mic in his face after four pints. I think he means well, but I listen for Simon, Caoimhe and James.

Like others have said, it is a great podcast but the host is too much. I much preferred the previous host.

Love these show, they prime me for the games and the range of guests is always a winner

Love the format change. This show is pure red to keep up with LFC. Keep up the great work.

James, Simon, Caoimhe, and all the rest are great. The problem is that Tony Evans is bad to the point where I find the show unlistenable. It's so disappointing as Red Agenda was one of the best LFC pods around, but this isn't worth the download anymore.Read full review »

There are my three words. Used to enjoy the previous incarnation of this show, but post-changes, it’s gone downhill rapidly. Today was the last for me

Enjoy the news on the reds. Not a fan of the revamp in the new year.

Used to offer great insight akin to what you’d expect with the Athletic. Instead of journalists close to the club, they just sound like ill-informed fans where I can have that conversation myself. The new host is also terrible and his jokes are woeful!

Been a listener since the original Athletic LFC podcast started (and until recently a subscriber to The Athletic but like this podcast the quality has dropped away) but this new version is a poor replacement. Steve Hothersall was a much better host than Tony Evans, the production sounds rushed...Read full review »

Like the rebrand. Like the new name. Not a big fan of the new host. Only listening for The Athletic writers but can be tough getting through Tony’s patter

Not good, preferred the old set up. Miss Steve and think the chat/set up was better before - if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Unsubscribed, sorry!
Ben RQB via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 01/23/23
Poor audio quality ruins the overall podcast. The mic keeps picking up someone scribbling notes and is very distracting.

The best Liverpool pod there is. Fun and smart guests every show with a genuine and friendly host. Every episode is a joy.

Fantastic documentary about the demise of the world’s most disliked club and fan-base. Filled with all the expected delusion and entitlement to portray the complacency of one of the worlds fastest failing football clubs. You’ll never walk again after listening to this dementia-inducing trollop.

Where do they keep finding the random guest? Steve Beacom sounds like an old fan, not an informed football analyst. The podcast falls off a cliff when he goes off on a 1980s story telling narrative. James and Simon or Caoimhe only please. Show drops off with random guests, some don’t even seem...Read full review »

Hothersall and Pearce are great. But I’m done with this podcast now. Hughes is more morose than Victor Meldrew…. how can you get more enthused about a City player than THAT Mo goal/performance! And O’Neill regularly seems underprepared and ill informed. If you’re looking for a Liverpool podcast...Read full review »

Swerve her off the podcast she is hopeless

Great knowledge of football and Liverpool. Pod lacks focus. All the panel members ramble on and give 3 minute answers to questions, and end up their soliloquies talking about something completely different. Not a discussion, but rambling speeches.
Roonicas via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/24/20
Too much fandom, not enough journalism. Especially when talking about football economics, their views are close to embarrasing. Simon: Please listen to Keiran Maguire from Liverpool University at the podcast «The Price of Football». YNWA

Brilliant Liverpool fc app..luv Simon Hughes and James Pearce views and latest news on my team..Only one gripe..and that is the screaming John Aldridge and Steve Hothersall clip..bit over the top lads !!! Otherwise I’d have rated 5 stars.

Comfortably the best LFC podcast around.

Great podcast. Great to hear James’ insight and Simon’s accent in one place. Steve is great too. The best Liverpool pod out there...

There are some other great listens out there but this is surely the best. Pearce and Hughes are the authority on the club and Steve is a solid presenter. If you want to hear genuine insight behind the scenes of the club, this is the one.

Steve’s heavy breathing was very off putting on the latest pod. Other than that, another excellent listen.

Good to see James Pearce back in the podcast game. This is an easy and enjoyable listen for any LFC fan. Wish they would do an instant reaction pod after matches!
KopHawks via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/11/20
James Pearce is by far the best LFC pundit. Many others are very good but could listen to him all day.

People are insightful, not saying abstract words like passion hard work etc. Also, solid information and not rumour mongering. This goes for all your podcasts of course.
