Musical Youth: Celebrating 40 Years of Pass The Dutchie
There are not many musicians who can boast 40 years in the business and still tour the world with their first single. And, there are not many artists who can cast a Motown legend as a friend. But, Dennis Seaton, along with his fellow Musical Youth bandmates were and are still, unique. Their success story from Birmingham, U.K to the global stage has been somewhat overshadowed by the not so happy times. And, there hasn’t been another successful mainstream like them since. So, let’s join Dennis on the Reggae Lounge to celebrate this milestone and tell his story.

Reggae Loungin with Brenda Emmanus OBE
TV legend.
Before I began my podcast, this lady was in my loungin’ top five! I cannot gush enough on how much I enjoyed interviewing Brenda Emmanus OBE.
But how does a girl from Lambeth, aiming to be an actor, end up as the BBC Arts Correspondent interviewing the A list elite?
What fellow television legend was her rock and which screenwriter’s book changed her life?
And of course, we get to hear Brenda’s three reggae classics.
A great way to mark The Reggae Lounge Podcast for Black History Month UK. -
