“Great effort content wise to try and bring business and economics to a wider UK audience but Peston speaks too fast and McGovern is unlistenable. Harsh tone, very strong NE accent and use of colloquialism term such as “dead interesting” sounds forced and off putting for a national audience. As for anyone from outside the UK trying to learn what’s going on here, very challenging indeed. Speak more slowly, adopt a more neutral accent and drop the fake dumbing down and these two clearly have the ability to understand and communicate the subject to a wider audience. As it stands I gave up after 10 mins.”
